Requirements

1. No prior photography knowledge
2. We recommend a digital DSLR camera or a digital compact with manual settings
3. Memory cards
4. Fully charged battery
5. Lots of energy
6. Comfortable shoes!
7. Students must be over 16, for budding photographers under 16 you must be accompanied by an adult

Description.
A very popular digital photography course for beginners which is hands on. Its fun creative and inspirational. If you have bought or were given a camera and are still struggling then this course is for you. We will teach you how to fast track your photographic and technical skills, whilst taking brilliant shots in some great Auckland locations.
The groups are small no more than 16 with two tutors and the session is from 10am until 3pm. Our workshops will teach you how to navigate your way around the menu's and discover the joy of using the camera in its manual settings. By the end of the day you will feel confident and those pictures you are taking won't be by luck but by your judgement and skill

During your time with us we will also instruct you on on the compositional side of photography giving you pointers on portraiture, landscapes, nature etc . How to look for light, texture and colour.To get the best out of your models and how to get great poses. But more importantly how to take your photographs from snaps to high quality images

Location- A varied selection of locations around Central Auckland from Parks to urban areas
Workshop 10am until 3pm
Meeting point -10am The Bandstand, Albert Park off Kitchener Street (Behind the Auckland Art Gallery)
Lunch We stop for lunch in Lorne Street at the Sierra Cafe, where we have a large table waiting for us  (Lunch is not included in the price of the workshop)
Parking - The day ends around the Viaduct area, so the Wilson's car park downtown is a good choice and its $7.50 for the day
