Morning Session: Portraiture That Comes Alive
We begin the day focusing on Portrait Photography and the art of using light to flatter, shape, and enhance your subject. You’ll learn how to work with natural poses and movement, creating portraits that feel authentic rather than staged.
With plenty of time to shoot, you’ll photograph and direct a professional model while working closely with our experienced tutors. In the studio, you’ll gain a deep understanding of flash—both on and off camera—and studio lighting setups.
Crucially, we’ll teach you how to Manually control moving away from automated flash settings. Say goodbye to harsh, unnatural “flashed” images and discover how to use light creatively to elevate your photographs with subtlety and polish.
Afternoon Session: Creative Product Photography
In the afternoon, we shift focus to Product Photography, exploring how to light and photograph a wide range of objects. From reflective glass and ceramics to textured fabrics and soft toys, you’ll learn how to reveal detail, shape, and texture through thoughtful lighting.
You’re welcome to bring your own products to photograph—just arrange this with us prior to the workshop so we can tailor the setup to your needs.
