Description
This workshop is designed to teach you how to use off camera flash units and studio lighting. It assumes a basic level of proficiency in digital camera handling and technique and ideally you should have completed our Beginners and Intermediate workshops (although not essential)

The morning session looks at portraiture and how to use light effectively. We look at natural poses and movement and there is plenty of time for you to photograph and instruct our model. Working in the studio with our tutors you will learn everything you need to know about flash either on or off camera,as well as studio lighting. You will be taught how to manually control the flash, not the automated settings giving you an automated results, so say goodbye to that unnatural flashed look and learn how to create great looking shots which are enhanced by flash.

The afternoon session looks at product photography - how to create texture and light objects successfully from glass through to ceramics and soft toys. We welcome any products you wish to bring just arrange with us prior to workshop.

Our workshops also have the luxury of several Canon cameras and lenses for you to borrow, so you may be looking to upgrade your equipment or just wish to see what another lens could do for your photography.

The groups are no larger than 8 but with the added luxury of two tutors

What is Clickapix
Clickapix is a basic guide for photographers who have a DSLR camera or Compact Digital with manual settings. It has been designed for easy access to technical information when you are out and about.
It will recommend the ISO, the Aperture and the shutter speeds that would be suitable for the subject you are taking.

Who is it for
Created for anyone who would like a reminder about optimum camera settings at the click of a button
One of the most common questions we are asked by our students is
"What setting do I put my camera on to take a picture like that?"

How does it work
Choose the type of picture you are want to take.
Scroll through the different styles of photograph:
Portraiture, Scenery, Sports, Nature, Night and Flash
Choose the examples that match your requirements. Clickapix then gives you a range of settings based on the lens, the lighting conditions and what it is you are wanting to photograph

Quick and Easy
Remember it is only a guide, there are very many variables but it will get you on the right track. Photography is about capturing moments in time creatively, making images that make people smile. However technical expertise is needed too and this might just solve your problems

So how do I purchase
If you have an iPhone or iPad just go to the iPhone App Store BUY NOW

We hope this simple guide helps you capture amazing images
