Your model portfolio needs to show how versatile you are. Our photographer and make up artist work together to produce creative and breath taking model portfolio pictures which will showcase you at your very best. By incorporating advanced lighting techniques and creative guides on posing  we will help you get a head start in this highly competitive world.

Look at the type of modeling you are looking to do as this will help with the type of shots you will need in your collection.Get good at one thing,do you see yourself on the catwalks of Paris, or modeling on a Caribbean Beach promoting the latest 5 star hotel. To get your dream job you need eye popping images.

Make sure the images you have in your portfolio show the type of jobs you would like, a range of different outfits, along with different poses in different locations.Remembering that head shots, 3/4 and full body images should be all included in you selections.

Preparing for a studio shoot
Our professional studio photographer knows you are likely to be a little nervous in front of the camera and will give you advice and guidance all the way through the studio session. The following is designed to help you get the most out of your time with us.

What to bring

• Accessorize it is a quick and easy way to introduce variety to your studio images: Hats, caps, jewelry, scarfs, material, feathers, jackets also props such as sunglasses, guitars, books etc
• Pay attention to your change of outfit nothing that is highly patterned or branded. Bright colours can work well as does black and white
• Think about what you want the finished look and select the outfits accordingly . Different clothes define different styles- Evening,swimwear,sportswear,casual and formal attire.

On the day

• Before you come to the studio make sure you have looked through magazine for the type of poses you see yourself doing (bring the magazines with you).
• Don't wear any makeup before you arrive. You can style your hair. Unless you have prearranged a stylist with us.
• Don't forget to get your nails done
• Waxed and shave where needed.
• All over tan
• Bring a music CD you may find this really help you move in front of the camera.

Studio Photo shoot $300

This package includes

• 30 minutes with make up artist
• 1 hour photo shoot
• Digital retouching $20 per image.
• extra time $70 per half hour.

Studio and Location shoots

These are by separate negotiation and would be booked as half or full day sessions

Our Photography studio is brand new and based in Hatfields Beach Orewa. We have plenty of space , bathroom and kitchen facilities as well as parking
